Five amazing weeks.

"Hi Audrey, It has been a while since Laura has been home now from New Horizons program. Do you remember her? She was there from late March until early May. As I said in my letter to Jackie after Laura's return, your program did have a positive impact on her. She has told us many details of her stay there and probably will talk about it for the rest of her life! I think as time goes by she realizes how much her weeks there did affect her. She loved the outdoor adventures and in our opinion, looked radiant when we picked her up at the field house in May. As a result, she has said many times in the past weeks that she would like to work at NHFYW one day. My question for you is whether or not it would be feasible for a girl who went through your program to actually work there? She talks nonstop now about moving to Maine, but she has always loved Maine since we are from there.

Thanks for any information you can relay to me concerning this matter. I don't know whether or not I should encourage Laura in that direction and thought you might be of some help in that regard.

Hope all is well with your program as it is a wonderful one. When we were there we met the new therapist and thought she would be a good addition to your staff.
