I wanted to give you a little feedback on my experience sending my daughter Paula to your program.

Although I was very apprehensive at first and didn't really think Paula needed an outdoor therapy program it is obvious to me now that I was wrong and I am very glad she went.

There is a very big difference between seeing your child at home and hearing an evaluation by professionals who have lived with her. At home, even when she saw her therapist it was only for 50 minutes in an office. At New Horizons Paula was away from her home environment. Staff who worked and played with her saw her every day. These were professionals who have had experience recognizing the problems of teenage girls needing help. It was only in that context that I was able to really see how unhappy she was and how much she needed that help.

The whole time Paula was there, even when she was "acting out" and being difficult, I always felt that everybody on the staff new my daughter well and had her best interest at heart.

Now that Paula has moved on to another school my only regret is that I didn't send her sooner. I will never forget how hard you worked for my child.
